plaster or stone. The water supply is maintained for at least 1 minute after trimming is over. This is done to flush out the dental stone/plaster and to prevent clogging.

Bench Lathe

This equipment is used for a variety of laboratory procedures. It is used for gross trimming, grinding, finishing, and polishing procedures. The abrasive grinding wheel is attached at one end and the other end has provision for the attachment of a rag wheel, trimming burs, or stones.

Hydraulic Press

It is a hydraulic equipment. It has provision to slowly increase pressure according to need. This equipment is used during the packing procedure to intimately close the flask. During trial closure, 1,500 psi pressure is and for final closure 3,500 psi pressure is applied on the flask under a hydraulic press.

Dewaxing Unit

This is electric equipment used for dewaxing or wax elimination procedures. It has a heating coil to heat the water in a water bath. During the dewaxing procedure molten wax may come out through the flask and mix with water, and

this water tap is provided. The flask and clamp assembly are placed in boiling water for 5 minutes for the dewaxing procedure.

Acrylizer Unit

It is electrical equipment used for the acrylization of heat cure acrylic resin. It has provision for a water bath and a special mechanism (thermostat) for providing time and temperature control. The temperature and time duration can be set by the provided mechanism. If a long curing cycle is required for curing the acrylic resin, the temperature can be set at 74°C using temperature control and time
